  • Get a pool of paint: Shake your jelly pen to get the ink flowing, remove the black ring in the center of the pen, then press the tip on a palette or piece of scrap paper to create a small pool of ink.

  • Scoop and blow: Scoop some of the pooled ink onto the tip of the jelly pen and then blow across the tip to create splatters on your scrapbook page.

  • Control the splatter: Blowing hard will create bigger splatter spots, while blowing softly will result in finer, mistier splatters.

  • Experiment and practice: Try out different techniques and levels of pressure on a separate piece of paper to find the splatter effect you like best before applying it to your final scrapbook layout.  This is a discontinued product.
